I don't see why we can't have a straight alpha man/omega woman pairing, it wouldn't really be as traditional as a beta m straight pairing. But I get that it's not that exciting its well executed in it's writing as a story.
definitely, no one is stopping people from consuming straight omegaverse but then again the original concept of omegaverse is mpreg, like a world where men can get preggy. There’s actually quite a lot of straight omegaverse wherein the man is the alpha and the woman is the omega but mostly in manga. I would say that theyre pretty much just straight story with the addition of pheromones.
