i think some people need to reread because the sunbae is a genuine guy, overly honest and showcases his emotions the way they are and he is actually a good guy (at least better than the black haired guy). it’s basically confirmed that the stepbro is a spirit and came to mc’s life because of a wish, BUT because of his powers and abilities it’s obvious he’s gonna distance mc from everyone and ofc he’s making bad things happen on purpose brah, he’s DEFINITELY the cause of why mc was ostracized from the rest of the people around him, IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE SPIRIT STEPBRO. the sunbae saw mc for his genuine self and actually does care about him although he prolly just doesn’t use his brain to think he actually has a crush on him and likes him more then he thinks.
