how did they get from going no contact at the end of ch4 to being buddy-buddy and soaked in the rain at the start of ch5?? from context there was supposed to be a welcome party from the baseball guys for hozumi but we never saw that.. i’m confused..

Lmao I think I accidently pressed the dislike button. But yeah, theres a sudden jump and it just gets explained later rather than showing the party. Made sense to me after that but very much a weird way to have shown it.. like why didnt they just put it before? Could also be possible they didnt think of that scene till later so it was a sudden further explanation for them getting into a cold turkey stalemate
idk i cringed very hard at the fact that all this omega-ism is pretty transparently xeroxed from feminist struggles and women’s place in a patriarchal society. it seems women are still at a disadvantage in this story’s world, whether we believe our unreliable narrator at all or not. this is very silly and all but i prefer omegaverse works that gracefully reconcile the primary sex with the secondary in terms of worldbuilding. still very entertaining though, will be reading regardless of anything i said (￣∇￣")
