Y'all be fr. Jaekyung IS an asshole, but he's not THAT bad of a person. I mean, if he really was a bad person, he wouldn't care to even be good to Granny. Probably, he has trouble expressing his emotions.
And whether or not Jaekyung is in the picture, Kim Dan would still be at an all time low because he wouldn't be able to pay for Granny's hospital bills and the debt collectors would have their way with him, and he'd still be working to the bone.
Also, Kim Dan has never not given his consent so I think it's a stretch to associate Jaekyung with literal rapists. He may be an asshole, but he's not THAT bad
