I really liked what Kousei said. My interpretation of it is that we shouldn't obsessively focus on our dreams but also remember to follow our hearts and the people who were there for us. If that means modifying that dream because of important people around you, then so be it so that you don't lose your past or current self, and so that your future self doesn't curse you for it.
