no matter what i say or someone says, its wrong in your eyes. I've read almost every single comment on this website. everyone is defending him saying he needs time or he needs to take a breather. i understand that you need time to heal but people here seems to denied opinions of other people, saying your wrong. my opinion is my opinion you may not like it but disregarding someone opinion or projecting your trauma onto him. isn't the way, may like the character however you want but you are you and he is himself. I'm watching people attacking other people for their opinion for a story that doesn't even exist in real life . this is a character of a story after all that doesn't even exist, this world would've went into disaster if it was real life. i have empathy for things that are living breathing being not a drawing or a painting or manhua manhwa or manga. please everyone just stop arguing if you don't like the characters please read something else and fans of this story please stop attacking people for stating their opinions. you're not gonna change their minds , just comment how sad was this chapter or he needs more time, please do not project you trauma that you have onto this character again you are you, he is himself. enjoy the story, cry a bit, move on. please just stop attacking each other and have a wonderful day.

Yes, he is a victim and he has all the right to be traumatized, but that trauma is NOT an excuse to take that same trauma of abandonment and transfer it onto his child by turning his back on him. If that happens for a prolonged period of time, then he turns from a victim into a perpertrator. Most perpertrators were victims who could not cut the cycle of abuse and once you are a parent yourself, you have to acknowledge the damage and work towards not repeating it. It's hard and it's not fair, but it's the right thing to do.

I'm tired of people using trauma as excuse to inflict more trauma. Hyesung was abused, yes, and he's a victim, but he's also an adult and a parent and he shouldn't be pushing his child away like that because that's him repeating that trauma and starting the cycle all over again

and abuse teaches people, adults and children, to be cautious of others and to really be sensitive to dangerous situations. Though she has now lived many years in a happy healthy environment, a recovered victim would still have at least a heightened sensitivity to danger. So this means her instincts should have been telling her not to go near and trust her, which would already be an easy conclusions for nearly every healthy adult, but she ignored it in favor of trust and care. It's sweet that she decided to trust but also incredibly DUMB! Especially when a war in the demon realm is going on right outside and she's not been there very long. Yeah she decided to trust her maid over her personal guard.
