Hi guys. The other day I binge read “Hello! Veterinarian” and I can’t get over it. It was so freaking cute. Can anyone recommend me a manga/manhwa/manhua with a MC who is capable of speaking with animals? I remember years ago I also read a story with a couple who could speak to animals, but it was a shojo and when they got together they lost their ability (which sucks tbh) and I’ve always wanted to read more stories with MCs who can speak to animals. I also love stories about tamers and summoners (like Tondemo Skill) so… please recommend me stories with lots of mofu mofu. Thanks!
I’m so sick and annoyed at hero summoning scenes where the king “welcomes” the “heroes” and asks them to help. Like… you do realize this is outright kidnapping, right? And why should “heroes” risk their lives helping a kingdom that has nothing to do with them? I’ve seen summoned victims get confused, excited or scared about the summoning, but I’d REALLY like to see a summoned victim get angry and directly kill the king/magician/princess/saintess responsible for the summoning.
Hell I'd love to see that too but only if the hero is wayyy stronger than them. Imagine he is stuck at the mercy of an entire kingdom and he just killed their king :/
Recently I’ve come to an awful realization. It’s that the older and the more I read, the pickier I become. I hate it because it’s so difficult for me to find stuff to read because of how picky I’ve become. I get annoyed so easily and I drop so many stories because of it. And I guess it doesn’t help that I’m a binge reader, so I let stories marinate and read over 100 chapters at a time, so it makes it easier to get annoyed if the story has certain tendencies. *sighs*
I’m 20 and been reading since I was 10-11. So yes that is a thing, I’m only reading a few stories nowadays

I used to try to keep going, but many times I would just end up giving up, so I realized that it’s just a waste of time and a type of self torture because I’d get increasingly frustrated and annoyed, so… yeah… not anymore. Plus, even if I did finish a story, many times I wouldn’t feel it was worth it in the end. Once I even regretted reading the story so much because it was so bad I felt I wasted my time and brain cells.

True reading stuff like 10 years this year and i feel i m picky which stories are extremely popular seems cringe and boring i search for good stuff to worth my time not to waste it in dumb plots I drop anything boring easily before I used to complete anything.

I love Chinese web novels, but I feel like the quality of most Chinese Manhuas is so bad. The art is always pretty but in most of them the art doesn’t flow so the story telling is very choppy
yeahhh idk why most manhuas feel like cliche soap operas. it feels like most of them just reduce their characters down to tropes but dont give them any other personality traits
chinas got the webnovel game ON LOCK tho idk what they put in their novels but it must be crack or smth. maybe their humor and tropes just lend themselves to be better in writing than in comics? idk

I wonder why in fantasy stories, the characters need to cut down a tree to show off their power. What did the tree ever do to you? And do you know how long it takes for a tree to grow so big? Cut a huge tree stump in two or a rock or whatever. Why does it have to be a big live tree every time? I know it’s fantasy and it’s fake, but I still feel bad for the trees
