So if I remember correctly, Taeui was kidnapped by Abdul Rahman and imprisoned in his shuttle with Jaeui. Taeui kept thinking about Ilay and the "new" feelings he had been experiencing lately because of him. He desperately wanted to contact Ilay, so he managed to steal a phone from one of Abdul Rahman's guards. He called Ilay, and when Ilay realized it was Taeui on the line, he got feral crazily screaming asking where Taeui was. After a moment of silence, Taeui suddenly in the most casual way blurted out "I think I like you." I was SCREAMING UGH. The tension in that scene was insane, Taeui panting as he ran from the guards in the shuttle, trying to hide from them. Then Taeui asked Ilay, "What about you?", Ilay remained silent, more time passing and Taeui got nervous since he had nowhere to hide and the guards were closing in. Taeui was shouting into the phone "Ilay" when Ilay finally said, "Tell me where you are now." Taeui tried to describe his location as best he could because he didn't know exactly where he was himself. Ilay was frustrated and told him, "Taeui, do you realize what I might have to do to get you out of there"" Hahaha and YEESSS because later on Ilay legit went to extreme lengths to save Taeui. Just before the guards caught Taeui because he had nowhere left to run, Ilay screamed into the phone, "Taeui, don't get hurt! Taeui, do you hear me? Don't get hurt. I'll get you out of there. Don't get hurt, Taeui!" then the call got suddenly disconnected since guards caught Taeui.
Gosh I wanna reread that entire moment again, the tension was REAL CRAZY no matter how I tried to describe it reading it is something else
definetely one of my favorite moments only compared to when taeui snooped on ilay’s and richard’s conversation
that other moment when Taeui snooped on Ilay and richard's conversation is also sooo precious to me, I really hope diasm get a manhwa adaptation PLEEEAAASE
