The pacing reminds me of special season recap episodes for a TV series.
Or like when they would do a OAV of manga that fasts forward through the plot or skips showing anything but the highlights of the series published so far.
I think it’s ick that the ML is like 24? Falling in love with a girl less than 16 years old???
I dunno when this was published. And I know this kind of age gap romance was pushed a lot especially the farther in time you go back. But …. Ick. Ruins any romantic potential for me.
Sister’s end was a crock of shite. It just drips with that annoying shoujo story telling where after a certain point in the story nothing truly tragic is supposed to happen and even the villain was just misunderstood but finds the true meaning of happiness with the power of love and rose scented unicorn queefs
The older sister literally tortured the FL in every possible way. She literally burned people alive. These are on the same black flag level as torturing small animals. A person that grows from a child with that kinda psychology is not mentally well or safe unchecked in society.
So for her to ‘find herself’ or whatever tf you wanna call it doing forced labor in prison is so weird and I don’t understand whyyyyyyyy?Add that? To the story???
Is it because we can’t have one of the kids parents be an unredeemable psycho?
Then the author shouldn’t have written her like that in the first place???? This redemption would have actually added really cool and interesting depth to the story then.
