This has so much setting incoherence in setting , architecture and culture its just impossible to not notice and be distracted. Like the author went with, hey you know what? " How I about I take a moderne japaness school setting (building style, uniform and all) , sprinkle it with a bit of "what I think fanatasy is" and mix everything". They interior doesn't match the exterior, its painful to look at. They didn't even put the tiny bit of effort to merge them to make it cohesive.
I guess , the D. mystery is now solved : D for Davy. And seems to have a special ability against demonic entity?
I think no. Davy stands like a tribe. For example, lunarians, buccaneer? and other tribe that have special ability to them. It said in 1159 chapter where Davy people also committed the most biggest sin in the past which js they're the descendants of Davy D. Jones, the legendary pirate. Davy people are like Xebec, Teach, Xebec wife and his people and seems like they've been imprisoned in God Valley for a while. I'm pretty sure 'D' is not a lineage or tribe but a 'Will'. They keep saying 'Will of the D' so meaning, the people who have D on their names have deeper theory and not to be revealed just yet. And since this is the last arc (?) Elbaph might be longer than the other episode. I'm certain that in this arc they will reveal Nika identity and his purpose since Nika is they worship Nika not just the Sun God but God of War too. Maybe in more chapters in the future, they can finally reveal what is the D.
Oh wait i meant to say ' I'm certain that in this arc they will reveal Nika identity and his purpose since Nika is the most worship figure in Elbaph as they worship Nika as the Sun God and God of War. Theres information (i forgot which chapters) that Nika is the liberation of the Giants and Slaves (people who are born slaves like Kuma bloodlines) this is why his story never dies because his presence is so important for the Slaves who held deepest hope in their core.
Ah, yes , I admit that makes more sense , revealing it that way, from a flashback , said by a non important character is isn't a good Idea for such a big mystery.
