i love how he cherishes leo and how he just wants her to be happy and safe. and despite him being protective, his way of educating her is strict and at the same time, he makes sure that it'll align to leo's personality.
cuz most of the FLs i've seen, parents/guardians just let them girlboss bc they knew FLs are capable. here, pelio knew leo is capable, but he still makes sure the she is being taken care of as A CHILD.
and yes there might be similarities to other stories but theres just smth here that feels so different. it's like... actual parenting. unlike others that i feel like it just revolves around business and politics DURING childhood and tea parties lol. its just a breath of fresh air for me.
