Sure, he does not have the nicest personality but he was clear with his thoughts and feelings regarding their situation from the beginning and he isn’t leading Mc on. And I know that he is now catching feelings so his words and actions go against themselves a bit but he still isn’t a bad person and he is nice to Mc.
