read a comment saying that the shitiest kind of ending is the ones that one of main character dies, I don't think so, there where times when we see the story being complemented by that something like "this is how he lived and this is what was left behind" the problem here is not the end but the writing
first I would like to say I love this kind of dark story that leaves a bittersweet taste
but this was not the case of this story, first the characters
well they are all simple and shallow the story tries
all the 3 main are deeply in love without a good reason
the main one, who has the cliché "love for the savior" BUT dad was not the first to help him, nor the one who most gave him support, so it don't add that the same person who hate another so much for "not understanding" didn't give a dam about the other kid in the same situation helping him but falling madly in love for a old guy who is good to him because he thinks of his own dead kid, I understand if he sees it as a chance to be the kid he always had envy of and end up falling for all the love he was showered and them confusing it with love being obsessed etc, but the story makes clear he was in love since and because the dad listen to him by the lake, what doesn't make sense, he as a kid telling a adult all his life, and even if a kid like him told a adult he wouldn't have told all the history and by so he wouldn't had open his heart (the same goes if the dad just read a paper with his information, who couldn't have much more besides where he has lived before that orphanage, his parents situation, and if he was adopted before, had some disease etc.), but even if he did open himself, sexual love the way he had came from nowhere (what is fine for a mentally unstable person but what is clearly not the case for this character, he seems to have some degree of sociopath but he is getting better as he felt really sorry for the friend, but them again he couldn't be sorry for the bullied kid, what didn't make sense as he should me the one he identifies himself more, he could have blocked his past, in this case he seeing more of himself in the friend than in the kid makes sense)
the daddy, I get he spend a lot of time with this kid when he lost his own, but he new this kid had sexual desire for him and he felt grossed, I find difficult that every little act of affection didn't make he hate the main character even more, I think its more difficult he would direct his paternal love towards the kid that killed his son and now has sexual desires for him, even more if he is a teacher who has a lot of other kids who he could get attached, and them finally getting hard for this same kid? really? didn't you saw your own child in him? its just don't make sense, one thing is having sexual desire (love) and parental love (in this order) the opposite is gross and you are piece of shit but happens but all that for the killer of your son? you need a really good writher to make this make sense
finally the friend is just typical "love happened" is easy to fall for a sex friend, he is the most plausible one, he could be a open minded person, spend a lot of time listening his friend, okay, but as a kind person his love was most probably to fade with time, seeing how bad main character is, the crush wouldn't sustain, this crazy love for such a trash person, don't make sense coming from a perfect heath, good natured man, with lots of friends
finished the story for the bullied student, identified myself with him, hope he and the friend end up fine (and I ship it)
after all that the feeling I got is that the author made the plot and them though about the characters, more precisely he made them WHILE doing this webtoon can even see the parts that where not in his original plan
interesting plot but the writher couldn't handle
