I agree with y’all it would have been sooooo much better and more airtight if we had a chapter between the initial fight and the return to the main timeline about Koutaka’s side of the story and to get some of his reasoning/turmoil/whatever. Like yeah a confrontation scene from chitose and if Koutaka had been the one to reach out the story would have been more satisfying to the reader imo, but I think part of what the author was going for was that people can be immature and stupid and u got to let love take the lead yada yada (though addressing said immaturity would have been nice but ya can’t get everything ig). So those unsatisfying points aside and just taking the story as it is: just to have a more airtight narrative I wish we had a chapter like that but I still liked it. Enough to translate the whole thing LMFAO

I always appreciate and respect A LOT when translators care enough to preserve important aspects of the culture like using honorifics, last names and such. That way we can grasp the characters closeness so much better.

Thank you!! There’s a lot of stuff without equivalents in English so I just keep, like honorifics. I also really tried to translate it in a way that high schoolers actually talk bc sometimes people translate things and it comes out not sounding like the way real people talk at all LOL. It’s hard to get the nuance but I’m glad you liked it :)
Also everyone chitose’s birthday is March 30th, Koutaka’s birthday is sept. 18th (you can see it on his phone in chap.1 sorry I should have translated but I can’t fix it now since mangago admin uploaded the chapter not me)
