maybe im tweaking but i feel like the story kinda got worse after the artstyle changed. personally i didnt like the marridge competition arc at all.. like baam was fighting on the level of high rankers before but then now hes struggling against a ranker. he also became like naive again and wanting to save everyone somehow??? like i thought that kinda stopped after the canines and being a part of the fug. i dunno i kinda stopped reading after like 20 chapters into the arc so i dont know if it gets better or not. i also really dislike the artstyle change personally i feel like it lost all its style and like personality .
i can't remember the name anymore but it was a webtoon about this girl going into this novel she read and the male lead is like stuck in this tower and being abused by her mother and she sneaks there every few days and has to climb lots of stairs and just brings him food until he slowly warms up to her. please help me!!! i really wanna read it now that ive thought of it but i cant remember the name for the life of me ┗( T﹏T )┛
if i'm being honest I can see from teach's perspective but if I'm being honest he's being unreasonable. i feel like because of the world they are in this sort of punishment for breaking rules is warranted. him trying to steal medicine could have caused the death of the hounds, who go out and hunt for the survival of the entire town. if there had been lacking medicine for an injured hound, the survival of the entire town could be in jeopardy and in that case, if wouldn't end with just one death but the death of practically all of the townsfolk. this sounds extreme but is it not an extreme world they are living in? if one person was exempted from the punishment for breaking the rules, who is to say another person won't break it and from then on a trend is created, and if the rules aren't abided by the survival of the town can no longer be garuanteed. i can see why the teach felt this way, but i also think that he should have thought it through himself instead of arbitrarily trying to impose his morals onto the town without thinking about the practicality of abiding by those morals. guwon is, undoubtedly, 'messed up', when we look at him through our lens, which are the lens of people who are not in a post-apocolyptic world and their actions are similarly so. however, they are in that post-apocolyptic world, and seeing it through that lens, i believe their actions are reasonable. sorry for the yapfestt just wanted to get my feelings out after reading through the comments
Nah, teach is right to question the severity of the punishment for stealing medicine. A gruesome death for stealing medicine is extremely excessive and it's entire purpose is to force the villiagers into obedience. If a hound was seriously injured and needed actually medical treatment, none of the medicine they have on hand would be of any use since most likely is over the counter medication they took for an already ransacked pharmacy.
Lets say they did have actual hospital grade stuff, none of the villagers would have the ability to properly administer it. Their "doctor" used to be a vet, and had no history of treating ppl, but he's the closest to a medical professional so thats the job he does. If a hound needs an amputation and or treatment for a serious infection, no amount of cold medicine, fever reducers, or pain killerd will help him.
The survial of the town is already in jeopardy. They live in absolute fear of Guwon and his rules. They accept it because its either die by his hand or die by bitten by a zombie. They might as well live in comfort till then but due to this fear, the villiagers are in a constant state of paranoia and stress and are watching out who to betray to keep their own life.
I agree with your point. However, it was already established that the zombies just walk around and are just an annoyance. The zombies don't bite anyone, so outside what their afraid to face is the lack of clean water, electricity, food, and the evildoers that hurt people. Other than that, I fully agree with you. Well said.
