"Why does everyone leave him alone", "'It's okay if I meddle a little', is there anyone who thinks so?" these lines made me so sad. Sumiya was suffering all by himself before Yakumo showed up, he's such a diligent person at work not only doing his own work but also everyone else's without any complains but when his co-workers see him having a hard time they just... don't even bother asking if he needs help just because "He'll be fine sooner or later". He's not lazy, he has never learned how to prioritize or take care of himself, he puts everyone else before himself, I thought the manga made that obvious enough but unfortunately people still label everything as just being lazy. This manga shows Sumiya's situation in a more lighthearted way but knowing japans work culture and the amount of depressed people that are found with years worth of garbage hoards in their homes, this manga would've been way darker if all that was shown more seriously.
