I've been self studying myself on how to apply makeup because I've been attending convention and cosplay event and even cosplaying sometimes but my makeup is always so smudgy.. where do you guys learn how to do it?

I'm graduating high school later and I am so nervous I feel like I'm gonna puke when the ceremony starts (I hate being seen by a lot of people especially that I have to go up the stage to get my certificate and a lot of people will be watching me) what do I do dkehekwhwkw
