I’m so glad I didn’t read this 3 years ago when I wanted to. At that time I still had the mindset of hating more than one love interest (which I still do). But being more mature and reading this has really been an eye opener. This such a healthy relationship that feels authentically real. It really does show the mindset of someone who can’t let go of a first love and the start of moving on. I think the ml’s action from start to finish was authentic to himself and even before reading the side stories, I can tell he really loves the main character. The side stories are so refreshing and surprisingly not boring. I definitely think you need to be a bit more mature to understand the complexity of the relationships. It’s not something as simple as betrayal, it’s a lot of anxiety and longing for something you thought would eventually come. Super happy I waited to read this!
