i love heartwarming stories like this!!! the emotional complexity is chef's kiss and this is probably why i prefer internal conflicts in bls lol i love seeing the tension between them build up, explode, then unravel ughh honestly so good. theyre a mature healthy couple and that tends to be boring if the author doesnt add any emotional depth to the characters, but it is done so well in this one
