first 4 chapters deserve 5 stars. the author did a great job at gradually unraveling what happened between them in highschool. i love how there's apparent tension between them from the start. I just wished the last chapter wasnt so rushed, like idk i needed the conversation to be smthing slow and subdued and not as straightforward as what happened. anyway i enjoyed it im a sucker for this type of friends to lovers pining shit
