Its implied she might be the original destiny of yeon lol, if you read it again it seems like back in their past lives, yeon tried to forcefully switch his destiny to kihoon.
-instead of her, and now in their current lives, it seems like ever since birth kihoon had cursed to face misfortunes everytime, who knows that might be one of consequences for yeon meddling with the original flow of fate(2). But Kihoon doesnt seem to likely get bad luck when he’s with Yeon tho from what i noticed.
Welll consequences of forcing one’s fate is still not shown but we will know in the future chapters.
