Comments will never understand heiner and why the author had to make his character like that. He used to adore her like a fan, went through a lot and came back to take down the reason, her father. He ofc matured to think a bit out of the box but he got toxic with annette. He realizes now he shouldn't have done hhis and is trying to prevent as much as possible harm towards her. If anything, anette wasn't that happy with her father either, read her past. She just thought heiner would be her love life and all. Now that's a well built story, heiner is a well written character for being a ml even if being bad and toxic. That's how reality works. I absolutely love the realistic situations in this story. But the way he just avoids talking to her now is a bit expected yet frustrating
