Okay, so, The BEST PART OF THIS, bar the art, is how if you look ONLY FROM THE MOTHERS POV, it's a bland ass normal damn rofan Shojo/Josei thing, BUT because it's from the daughter's POV it doesnt FEEL like that...

Old played off tropes feel unique because they are told essentially from a never really before seen perspective...

And I really cant get enough of the fact that they are actual characters too! Like the mother almost goes off on the daughter because she's scared and a little angry and is falling into her old habits from the first life, but she stops herself, gets mad at herself, and keeps trying to fix it....

So... I dont know how this story is going to go, BUT JESUS! I need the ntr fetish bastard to end up with his family in shambles, I need nothing to happen to the mc family, and I NEED the ex to (while not forgiven) end up not being a crazy/absolute bitch, I'm seeing early signs with the one panel in chapter 3, but uh... please, I want her to have a lot of comeuppance, BUT I dont feel its ENTIRELY her fault.

Its still a really good read, and a pretty good example of generational trauma/abuse/neglect... but I cant help thinking that there's a rosy-er path than the one she decided to forge ahead on... idk... I just really fo hope she ends up being a really good older sister to the adopted kid.(ps the translation of them talking about their mother is sometimes grammatically wrong, since they share a mother... sometimes mc refers to Younger brothers mother as "your mother" BUT if that isnt an error, it sorta is another example of a really good detail i guess... because she WOULD probably feel a disconnect due to the way she was treated vs how the brother was... so the wall between her mother and "his mother" has a possibility of actually being realistic.)
