Wanted to read because of a tiktok recommendation but in the process of reading I felt a constant discomfort at their interactions, mostly because of how much the alpha declared himself as a “guardian” to the beta and acted like his parent (not saying the alpha is in the wrong for helping the mc).Like this could’ve been entirely avoided by just making them childhood best friends and it wouldnt change the story that much and would’ve taken the whole “parent” bull off. The MC would’ve still gone through the same things he did if they were childhood best friends and still depended on his more richer friend after losing his father while still keeping the whole dependency dynamic they have going on. Also, what happened to the discomfort that was happening after the whole reveal of the beta crushing on the alpha? The story presented it but quickly washed over it and out of nowhere they suddenly they turned into love birds. Like huhhh??? I know this is just another bl in the sea of thousands that are pumped out yearly but this one for some reason made me mildly frustrated enough to type.
If you’re enjoying this BL then more power to you, but personally, not my cup of tea.

Reading this manwha is like having a beloved dead relative. You forget about it for a while and then you remember they existed and reminisce and then cry for the next week that they’re gone and then forget about it again and then the cycle repeats. I’m not going to lie to you I hated him but he grew on me because how idiotic and puppy-like he is. The scene where he was screaming for dante legitimately made me laugh because reminded me of the emo wolf screaming while tearing his shirt out picture. While I like BLs that take themselves more seriously, it doesnt hurt when they have a goofy ass ML like this and dont take themselves that seriously
