I am glad we are all in the same boat here, because Heart truly does not deserve to be treated this way. Yes, Head may be attractive and charming on the surface, but looks should never be enough to excuse the way he acts. Heart is different. He is precious in the truest sense, someone who pours genuine care into Victor without expecting anything in return.

Every moment he shows up for him feels sincere, almost selfless. That is why it hurts to see him overlooked and brushed aside, when his love is the kind that deserves to be cherished.

At this point, I am here for Heart alone, because he embodies the kind of devotion that should never be taken for granted. (。╯︵╰。)

That final kiss spoke volumes. Fin’s face showed desperation and relief. There was sorrow in his eyes but also a fragile kind of happiness, as if he chose to believe in an illusion he knew was false. The demon kissed with open eyes. He looked amused, calculating, and slightly flustered. It was never affection. It was triumph.

The kiss wasn’t love; it was the triumph of a contract disguised as intimacy. (。╯︵╰。)

I understand why the main character clings so desperately to the male lead. It’s no longer simple love but it’s a dependency born from loss and loneliness. With his family gone, the male lead became the only hand he could hold onto in the dark, so he endures every wound, every betrayal, just to keep him close. But his anger… I feel it deeply. Imagine bearing all the torment, accepting the pain of being with someone who cheats so openly, who shares himself with countless others, only to be told he now wants to walk away. That isn’t just betrayal, it’s a cruelty that shatters the soul. (。•︿•。)

I don’t even know how to feel right now. This manga left me completely shattered. At first, I thought it was just another lighthearted story about two friends playing games, but as the layers started to peel away, I realised how dark and painful their world really was. It’s beautiful in a way that hurts – seeing how Kobayashi stayed despite everything, how Takagi clung onto him like he was the only thing keeping him sane, and how it all ended in betrayal and quiet resignation.

It made me think about how people can crave love so badly that they accept even the most twisted forms of it. The ending felt so heavy, like all their games and laughter were just illusions to cover up the rot underneath. This is one of those stories that stays with you long after you finish it. Beautiful, haunting, and painfully human.

Another day, another update – grateful to be alive.

Here’s a quick summary of everyone’s comments on this chapter:

1.Some noticed the pink-haired character and guessed it might be a sheep, based on Little A’s dream and the character’s fluffy fur or hair.
2.Many are hoping Mr. K’s eggs will finally hatch, since it would be the first time Mr. K actually gets to be with its own eggs.
3.Readers are enjoying how we’re learning real farm animal facts along the way.
4.Everyone’s excited to see more lore about Mr. Little A and Fluffy.
5.Lastly, Wishing Little A to be a switch!

See you in weeks ~ ( ´ ▽ ` )ノ

I’m choosing to trust this manga’s process because I really like this author – their stories always have that cute, giggly vibe and an art style I adore. I’ll just ignore what the seme said this time because, despite that foul line, I do appreciate that he isn’t the usual aggressive type you see in other yaoi. At least here, he actually asks for consent ~ (♡μ_μ)

I just love the fujoshis and fudanshis in this fandom. Everyone’s so full of positive energy, and it’s honestly been a while since I’ve felt this way. Most yaoi series these days have such bad plots and storylines, plus their fandoms can be really toxic. But here, everyone’s just having fun. We all even agree that when we die, we’d probably end up like that ghost in the manga, which is hilarious. HAHAHA ~

I’ve been feeling so conflicted and overwhelmed while reading this manhwa — not because the plot is confusing, but because the future it hints at is so uncertain. I genuinely have no idea what’s going to happen next, and that unpredictability is making me anxious in the best and worst ways. Has anyone else forgotten the title? It’s Hounds of Sisyphus. That name alone says a lot. In Greek mythology, Sisyphus was doomed to push a boulder uphill for eternity, only for it to roll back down every time. And honestly, that symbolism fits this manhwa perfectly. The struggle, the weight, the inevitability — it’s all there.

I can already feel the emotional weight creeping in, and I just dearly hope that whatever pain this story delivers, it’s something I can endure. I’m still not over 10 Years Where I Loved You the Most — that manhwa destroyed me. It left me completely shattered, and I don’t think I have the emotional stamina to go through something that devastating again. So I’m bracing myself, hoping Hounds of Sisyphus doesn’t wreck me the same way… but deep down, I’m scared it will. (っ˘╭╮˘)っ

I’ve been reading this manga for what feels like forever, and I’ve loved the author’s work for years. One thing I’ve noticed, though, is that I keep forgetting how the story unfolds — not because it’s boring, but because the pacing and character development are so slow that it becomes easy to lose track. Honestly, the characters get under my skin sometimes, especially Ken. He’s probably the definition of my pet peeve. I get that confessing your feelings is hard, but the way he kissed Kirara and continues to send mixed signals? It’s frustrating to watch.

That said, I’m genuinely rooting for Hitomi to finally get his happy ending. Seeing Oomeda and Hanawa, and even the older brother and the single father, find their own kind of happiness has been so satisfying. Now I’m just hoping the same for Hitomi — he deserves it. („• ֊ •„)

Am I the only one who liked the ending of this manhwa? Or am I just an emotionally wrecked. But honestly, the more I think about it, the more it makes sense. The uke loses all his memories—freeing him from the pain and trauma—while the seme remembers everything and carries that burden alone which is the consequence for his actions. Moreover, let’s appreciate the other characters as well.

They still end up together, but it’s a different kind of love. One where the uke gets a clean slate, and the seme quietly holds onto everything they went through. It’s bittersweet, but also incredibly beautiful—because sometimes love means carrying the pain alone so the person you love can finally be free. (⸝⸝ᵕᴗᵕ⸝⸝)

Can I ask you what did seme do? Because I not read it yet for some bad review in social media (╥﹏╥)

I want to explain it in a way that won’t spoil too much, so that if you ever decide to read it yourself, you’ll still be able to fully enjoy the emotional journey and unexpected twists.

In essence, the seme’s actions in the story revolve around an intense attachment that crosses into obsession—so much so that he manipulates and reshapes the uke’s fate to fit his own desires.

I like your review, totally agree! The ending was very wholesome after all the angst. The seme learns from his mistakes and gets the chance to start over again with his beloved ciwoon while the uciwoon himself gets to forget all the harm and drama he was put through. That's how it should be^^

I’m really glad to see others who feel the same way. I was hesitant to post this because of all the negative comments I’d seen, but honestly, I couldn’t imagine a better ending than this. It truly reflects the bittersweet nature of life. And more than that, they were endgame—just in the form of a redemption arc.
