i feel like the two seasons were so tonally different. the mystery and eerie atmosphere was completely dropped for s2. and maybe i just can't remember it, but i feel like a lot of the mystery set up in s1 either didn't have a satisfying resolution or was straight up just not properly addressed by the end

....................i can't be the only one who thinks asha just doesn't love albert right. he loves arden. that scene at the end where asha's talking to arden's ghost (or his own subconscious judging by the author note but that seems like total bull tbh) and it's like "ur just scared to love again but it's okay to let me go" is crazy bc like...........that's not what's happening here. he doesn't see albert as his own person. he sees albert as arden. like there's multiple scenes where that's explicitly said and there's no reason to think otherwise at any point
