so i have finished the novel, I don't know how to feel, it is good considering how i finished it but there's some scene that will yk turn u off
so first spoiler is the novel is pretty brutal, not in like gore brutal, and one of the problem is the emperor he's dark and twisted, he's innocent tho, he don't gaf abt nobody except abel, there's a scene where he's massacaring a whole family and he wasn't gonna spare the baby if abel didn't hide it, that makes me mad ngl
near the end of the novel he can kill the enemy and live a peaceful life w abel yet he didn't, he play w the king heart even when he's slowly succumbing to darkness(drugs in our term) all because he think abel will leave him, if there's no one to hurt the him he thinks abel will leave because he doesn't need to worry anymore, he will do anything yet he's sometimes stupid
did i mentioned he drugged his nation? (not sure if that's the right term) he put drugs in teh salt, smart move btw but he made his people addicted, he really don't care he js need abel
and when they had sex he kind of force abel, I won't say anything since he don't know what he's doing he's innocent, but still doesn't change the fact that even when abel was telling him to stop he didn't, abel didn't get mad though he js wants the king to calm down since he's being rough, still doesn't change anything, he forced abel
8/10 rating there's a lot of turn off yet i finished it, that say's a lot tbh it's just that gokd the plot, i love there's reason for everything here unlike other stories that has a "it js happens, miracle" plot, here it was explained
