Is it just or is the story getting boring since theres no plot but instead its full of smut in almost every chapter

I’m not even surprised that he didn't refuse Dan’s offer to repay his hospital bill with his body. I’m really trying to clench onto this hope that he will change but honestly its fading away quickly, i know with his personality he’s not going to change but i still want to see his “redemption” arc. If you can even call it that
