In short, Novel Iheon entered another body from another world as he died. The Novel Iheon at that moment made memories with Real Huimin, living like there's no tomorrow (as wished by Novel Iheon to be best friends.) However, at some point, Real Huimin ended up in the novel. That's the hole for the next chapter because we don't know for sure how Real Huimin got in the novel but it has something to do with Novel Iheon and Novel Huimin, that's for sure.
Second, as we could see Real Huimin (inside Novel Huimin) saying "the hell" and pulling sketches, we can say that they switched places. Why? Novel Huimin desired what the Real Huimin has in the previous chapter, "a happy life" without the grief.
The sketches were flashes of what Real Huimin has and that's probabbly why Novel Huimin paints because these are "gateways" like films of vast fields, beaches, unlike his life inside the novel. There's also a hole in this because we also don't know yet how Novel Iheon got back but my guesses are both Novel Iheon and Real Huimin came back at the same time, starting at the beginning of the novel because there was a hint that the gestures of Novel Iheon was the same with what Real Huimin recalls from his past life.
Anyway, fruitful plot but that's my pov LOLOL
