I love that this shows the relaties of war. So many manwha have ‘war’ characters who are praised for their ferocity in the battlefield. Yet they never show these parts. They never show the suffering or the cruelty of what war really does.

Okay, so i dont know exactly what happened as I read the spoilers too.
The ml helps mc to free himself from the duke's imprint and they get married. After that the mc learns that ml was actually a noble from his city, but had been exiled during some rebellion. Ml wanted to take revenge on the kingdom that's why he asked the mc to marry him.
Then ig the mc agrees to help ml in revenge and dies. Then he wakes up before the time ml was exiled (when ml was a noble) and helps ml not get exiled. (I don't know what happens after but there is a lot of things that happened after this too)
If people are angry on ml because of him mc dies and ml never loved mc but wanted to take revenge by marrying him
This story is so much more entertaining now that I can understand what is happening!! The official translation be saving me
This was extremely well written and wholesome 10/10 putting in my best bls list.
One of the best BLs I have ever read. I know this is based on a novel, but u can tell the author thought through every step. Re-reading it I can see the foreshadowing, the character development, the great pacing of the action scenes. And most importantly it is interesting as fuck. So many Bls are bad porn, with no plot but sex scene after sex scene. This one however, kept me on my toes, and honestly I was excited every week for a release. I’m going to miss it

I would say the love story is good in my opinion. Not to spoil to much but I wish the groveling lasted longer lol. I think it’s just I have been reading BL for years at this point, almost coming up to a decade and most BL plot lines are bad/boring/constantly done. This one felt like a breath of fresh air. If you only want romance you probably aren’t going to like it, as the plot/action takes up a big chunk of the writing.

I’m sorry having read this whole thing, this story gives such groomer vibes. Like I really can’t take this seriously, the bottom feels so immature, especially in the beginning part of the story that it is genuinely uncomfortable.
