Duna is an amazing portrait of a person with experience of an abusive relationship, abuse does not have to be physical. And i don't like ppl like haesoo but then he changed and grew balls and i liked him more. Minho was a funny character then it just got sad ... and that other guy gave me sangwoo vibes, kid literally broke minhos ankles #-.-)
In NYC you'll see a bunch of kids who act like Minho, showing off their wealth but have the bare minimum of money to even show. Plus why would kids have that much money, like where do they get all that cash lololol.
I honestly didn't like gyerin at all but ig she grew on me.
I'm grateful of the translator but those notes sounded like someone forced you to translate these chapters and you made those comments with a stick in your ass like they were either very ignorant or immature.
I wanted to enjoy the story and then these simple sentences really got me annoyed bc i could actually see them and i'd read it by accident like it wasn't funny.
I never fit in with my age group but this stroy is the type of normal adults would find disturbing. There are some adults who are this vulgar and rude, not just rude.

Yk i thought they were co workers only till they had sex then i thought maybe they just started dating but never expressed their feelings now that i finished were they sex friends? Like b4 they said i love you to each other

Chiya states that Kei confessed to Chiya while they were co-workers. Chiya just kind went with the flow, but fell for Kei as they started dating. This is all before the start of the book. IN chapter 1, Chiya realizes that he has only received from Kei (confessions, emotionally support, consideration) and wants to return the sentiment by telling Kei that he [Chiya] loves him too.
SO they have been dating the entire time, but since Kei is the one who confessed, Chiya never had to say "I love you" back (plus he wasn't in love with Kei when they started dating), he probably just said "Okay". SO this is why Chiya has such a dilemma confessing to his bf, lmao

I literally could hear the tone and understand ever way jisuh talked when he was getting his revenge on heejae. And the fact that I used to be suspicious of everyone I too also had my walls up and I couldn't trust people because people ain't shit but if i had to say that I stopped being one of these thing it would be suspecting people too much. I have my walls up because I don't trust people getting to close to me and now I act carefree because if I always took people to seriously I'd always have to be on edge and I would be alone. I never liked be alone then ppl started changing everything was changing for me so i wanted to be alone and that last for as long as I can remember and I'm only 14 about to turn 15, there was a time where I really didn't care for shit and then I fell in love which was my biggest regret because that boy was a player and that's when I took out my revenge(worked like a charm) but then I realised that I still had feelings for him but I brushed it off because I don't give second chances. I just know that getting revenge does you no benefits. And being to suspicious is just like thinking to much and you get side tracked from the good things that happen right beneath your nose. Don't let bad things hold you down too long because you'll miss what life owes you and everyone deserves to be happy even the bad people. Plus I keep hearing this but forgiveness is something that you do for yourself and if someone tells you to forgive them that's entirely up to you.

That's too real. And the way you learned coping from it, too. The whole dynamic between Jisuh and Heejae , after Jisuh finds out and their talk on how Heejae knew and the changing and erupting dark feelings of Jisuh, when I read it again today it made me think about the whole different angle of reality people see from. And it's pretty amazing. I am not as layered and exclusive like Heejae and in some sense, Jisuh...so when I sink my mind into that kind of being, it seems very real and plausible. Pretty amazing.
Man they both loved each other but lost their touch and took their frustration out on each other; while continuing to create misunderstandings. The emperor just wanted to see a reaction from the empress from the moment he brought in trashta. The empress was always gonna be loyal bc she trusted the emperor more then anything.
The emperor is childish for playing with the empress' feelings, she's not a little kid and she didn't act the way she did, which the emperor referred to her being cold hearted, but she saved the emperor some face by letting him do what he wants because she knew her limitations as empress.
The empress did not let the emperor act however he wants against her, which I really love her for SO SO much, UGHHH.
Trashta is so dangerous too. Her ignorance has caused so much damage but maybe it's part of heinly's plan.
Heinly' plan was predictable the moment he entered the palace which makes me a little upset about him because he is actually somewhat of a homewrecker. Maybe his plan was something else, and i hope it wasn't just to have the empress to himself, because somehow he said that he was glad or more intrigued by the empress which kinda sounds like he didn't like her as much as how the story has progressed in order for him to be pursing her for years...
Only to be confident that the empress is his ideal woman.
The empress also has some killer skills bc she figured out heinley's friend and how to deal with him but I have honestly like since thw beginning because he seemed contradictory but ik he had his reasonsss he just likes a little misunderstandings here and there qhich i totally understand. Hehehe.
Trashta lost her favorability the moment the emperor found out she was keeping secretsss. KEKEKE.
Have you read the novel? Can you send me the link please
I haven’t, I’m just explaining the characters from my point of view
