if dietrich's fake memories were actually memories from their past lives, then I think that bastard is our ml in the past? where she's calling him a bastard bc she's mad that he quit his job as a knight which made it unable for her to marry him. and the brother is "the other" who prevented our fl and ml from being together and banished dietrich to barren lands :(
