The reason why Head knows all this is because Dick and Heart were literally part of him. Head beholds Henry's brain and therefore the awareness of Henry's urges and feelings. And Head knows Victor's behaviors.
So he knows that Victor never understood Henry's heart. And so he knows that Victor isn't able to find Heart so easily.
Also, I think that Henry might've loved Victor but Victor's obsession (especially with his looks) made him feel trapped and maybe even lonely. That's why he tried to find love in other ways.
Glad to see that we are all mad at Viktor for ignoring heart like that. Heart deserves so much better.
I almost forgot that this isn't only something to goon over but a story with very serious takes at times.
I love how anxious both of them are because even though they trust each other during their playtime, they still haven't closed that gap in their daytime relationship. Courtney doesn't know about the trauma that lays behind Richards desires, so she can't grasp why he is so hesitant. On the other hand, Richard still seems to be not convinced that Courtney actually enjoys their BDSM relationship now. Which isn't even that far fetched if you consider that he kinda forced her into it.
Both don't know the thoughts of the other - unlike us readers.
Those two are so good at misunderstanding each other that they live two different plots right now
