Often, when mums find out that the baby they’re having is (severely) disabled, they have to make a difficult choice. The mothers that choose to keep the child, are looked at awfully “You don’t know how the child will behave.” “Why keep the baby, you’re only going to be unhappy.” Not only do they have to deal with the emotional turmoil of potentially losing their child they’ve been carrying for months but they’re often judged and deemed selfish. Even though taking a chance on your child is the most selfless thing you can do, especially when mothers are the ones who truly labour.

why are there so many dislikes, you have a point there is a genuine concern for babies who might be born with a disability, in which a lot of thought must be put into it. though this case in the manga is not a perfect mirror to disabled children, you tack on the thought of this case also being reference to the threat to the mother’s health when she gives birth. should we take away a mother’s choice to have a baby if there’s a chance she will end up temporarily or permanently disabled, or even worse, die? many ways to think about it

The ML is just really kind however at this point I do like him with the other dain ☠ can the FL get a new ML? Also I feel so bad for her friend wth, but I get the characters are complex and not one dimensional, the FL will probably get character development

It was weird to initially hate Yokota at first just like the tls did, she was molested and we knew nothing of her and they were still insulting her.
And you can also hate her character, these things don’t need to be mutually exclusive.
