Can I get recs with a hero x villain romance, doesn't have to be necessarily a hero but just the main character falling in love with a villain, or even better the villain falling in love with the hero/MC!!

Anyone got good recommendations with a zombie-esque theme? I've just watched Train To Busan and would something along those lines but any zombie-esque story would do.

I've already read Radio Storm (I think this included zombies? A disease at least) , The Unfeeling Me, The Last Zombie, A Room Without Window, A Royal Servant (I think this had zombies in it? Can't rlly remember), Zombie Herd.

Now that it's listed out I doubt there's any good zombie stories left ( ̄∇ ̄")

I would love to read a story about two fumbling idiots but are absolutely in love with each other and the story is like about their day to day life and the villain becomes their buddy in the end cus it was too pointless to argue with two idiots

Pls and ty

Romance where it starts off with distrust/malice towards one another or they're strangers, then it escalates to the awkward stage where they're acquaintances bordering on friends, then it finally blooms into a beautiful love but BAM conflict but they make up

Just something similar to Rumi's and Jinu's relationship but without his death

Does anyone have any anime recs that has a similar feel to the romance/relationships in Ride Your Wave, Kpop Demon Hunters, Bubble and etc.
Just some pure love and is sweet and non toxic and gets me jealous and feeling single.

And ik the examples I listed ends with like a person dying (praying Jinu isn't actually gone) and I beg to god don't recommend me something with this ending or I'll end up crying again (or do, I could add it to my watch to cry list)

A yaoi where the MC rescues the ML from a kidnapping where the ML was in the suitcase. Pretty sure at this point ML was a child and MC was older

    Rae Nat July 7, 2025 11:12 pm

And I'm not sure if this is part of the same yaoi I'm looking for but it's another yaoi where MCs father kidnapped (?) the ML when they were a child

What are some of y'all's MUST reads for actual books?

I'm looking for books that are peferably fiction, none of that cliche and cringy romance.
Idc if it's thriller or detective or etc.
No harems or love triangles.
Not really a fan of female MCs unless it's a group of multiple MCs, both male and female.

You can still go ahead and comment ur must read even if it's not what I want, I'll still look it up and decide for myself

If you like BL, I highly recommend "For The Fans" by Nyla K. It's kinda a forbidden trope, aka, a relationship between step brothers. They (accidentally) start an Only Fans together to pay for college.
If you prefer straight romance...I can't help you there. I hear "A Court of Thorns and Roses" is good? I couldn't get into it myself.

webnovels with physical copies are considered "actual books" right? :3 *drops this* https://readhive.org/series/50056/

    jkjk
    the picture of dorian gray
Hamlet (it's a play but it's so good)

Also, "God of Fury" by Rina Kent. It's part of a series, but you don't really need to read them (I didn't) each book is about different couple within the same universe. It's advertised as Russian mafia, though that doesn't play a huge role in "God of Fury".

I really should have made a list in one comment, my apologies. Anyway! There's also "Breeze Spells and Bridegrooms" by S. O. Callahan and Sarah Wallace. It's Fae x Human who are complete opposites, where one even bullied the other in school. It's kinda set in olden day Britain? With Fae and magic. They unintentionally get engaged and aren't able to back out. It's a bit slower paced, not much in the spice department, but I enjoyed the world and characters.

    Hi! Me again!
There's also "Heated Rivalries" by Rachel Reid. If you like sports romance, specifically hockey in this case. It's a rivals-to-lovers (if the title didn't give it away) and gets to the smut pretty quickly.

I’m a fan of most han kang books as well as rf kuang, for han kang my go to would be human acts it’s a really well written and gut wrenching description of war and human evil, of course I love all of HK works but this one stood out to me. As for RF kuang which is kind of on the same theme which is the poppy war trilogy however It is a young adult fantasy - it reflects a lot on the Sino-Japanese war - I’d say it’s not on par with human acts but the plot is quiet interesting and it basically demands the readers attention. (It does have a Femc but it’s still a really good read)

Tysm guys for the countless recs! Definitely read most of these during the summer!
And to PrettyMenSupremacy they absolutely count, I would KILL to own a physical copy of the novel of ORV and so many more.

What's that one murim manhwa that has an MC who was sent back in time by his 5 (?) masters and in his new life he has to get stronger and recruit his now younger masters to defeat someone like Chun Ma or whoever it was. Pretty sure his masters were like patriarchs or important figures from the 5 main clans or smth. Pretty sure one of them is a beggar

Rae Nat June 17, 2025 8:32 pm

Can y'all recommend me like your all time favorite stories, genre or type doesn't matter but preferably completed or is updated with 30+ chapters, please and ty!

I need to fill up my summer holiday since now I've like finished school
