I don’t usually read just regular romance but now that I’m here I can’t help but root for Berne and FL to have a nice life. It’s been a nice, cozy connection. Her childhood crush was understandable and cute and I love that they had a real friendship but he rejected her 100 times.
Twice publicly harsh to the point where she was harassed and bullied by a whole school. And she STILL tried again as adults, I don’t care about his confusion. He didn’t miss his chance, he threw it away every time. Stay a friend my guy. That’s what you wanted.
I like the story and the cast but I hate the idea of him being the ml, I sure hope not.
