Couldn’t finish this side story cause not only the art but the panels transition are so distracting and different. Was so glad to see the update too.
Thank you translator for bringing this amazing story to us! The author and illustrator did a fantastic job of creating such a warming, wonderful, and lovely story.
Diverse supporting characters done right, the banter between all characters done right, the mcs chemistry and flow done right, the character designs done right, Angle is so freaking charming and fun! Josh with his germaphobe ways done right and so relatable!
Verdict: fantastic story, well worth reading and rereading!
While the art is nicely detailed & animation & direction are good, they’ve taken too much liberties in turning this into typical shounen mc & change scenes & remove most of the sol moments which made it confusing if you haven’t read the novel.
The novel is so well paced & refreshing to see a MC who is rational instead of rashly jumping in situations. The story builds up nicely & the lore & world building are excellent.
Yes! I hope they do this justice- hope it’s by the same team that did the Rakugo anime a few years back!
They need to talk to each other without holding back and also to their managers. They will be able to come up with a good strategy to handle the situation. As long as they are on the same page, they’ll be alright. High time they both realized that they’re adults and partners!
Why must they voice their displeasure to how an adult chooses a partner? Isn’t it enough that they have someone who loves them? Is it that easy to find a good partner?
It’s so freaking simple to just listen, smile and tell your kid you can see that they’re happy and you like to see them happy. Even if you internally don’t understand/have social prejudices or what have you, as a parent you can and must work on things on your own and avoid adding unnecessary burdens/anxieties/pressure to your adult kid. Did they like getting pressured themselves? Break this damn cycle! because it really isn’t showing your care and love.
As parents of adult kids, you are no longer part of their day to day life- you’ll meet at most on holidays (if they have no plans/still like seeing you) and speak weekly/bi weekly/monthly or occasionally so why all this damn fuss!?
You can interact pleasantly with their SO even if you have reservations initially as long as son/daughter is not in any physical/mental/financial dangers with SO.
I’m not the only one who said out loud at the end of the chapter “who is YOU?”
This story is always entertaining that’s for sure.
Still lost despite reading timelines from kind readers. It’s like I get but don’t at the same time- though the art is great and the story is fresh and intriguing.
Will def reread when it’s completed and will be able to grasp it all hopefully.
Author has a new manga out but it’s not translated. It’s available for free here https://shiori-on.com/product/handkerchief in Japanese. Anyone up for translating this? Title is Take the handkerchief, wait for the Time Machine, and last scene per google translate.
Thank you!
