I'm a sucker for Ancient Egyptian Mythology and this one hits the nail on really taking the usual lore and making it even more intricate. However, this one has very heavy themes and absolutely isn't romance and the relations between men have, so far, been all SA (horrible, I skipped those chapters in a heartbeat). It's really good however, and if you're interest in heavy and interesting plots, and it doesn't trigger you in any way, give it a go.
