Emmmmm, the little guys prolly around 18 (I think he’s in high school but alr legally adult). And I think (I hope) the ML is in his late 20s. SO it’s not bad if it is like that.

like the others have said, the character is stated by the author to be 18

that being said there are trigger warnings every time they do have sex. the trigger warnings are very vague, and i can’t see why it would be for the contents of the sex bc 1.) it’s very vanilla all things considered and 2.) unlike other yaoi the MC doesn’t ever give any inclination that he wants to stop, not that he’s enthusiastic about it but he just doesn’t care.

so i honestly do think it’s an understanding from the author that even if the characters are 18+…. she knows that a certain interpretation isn’t necessarily incorrect it’s just covering her bases. the TW is because of an implication

Yeah I agree with the Mc being the ex lover but you never know
