Andrew is hilarious! Honestly that one line was gold. I laughed so hard at it. Luke’s social skills are top tier but his refusal to admit who knew hurt.

It makes so much sense that Sir Mío didn’t follow Ash.

The hopeless romantic in us is heartbroken, but that’s why we all liked Sir Mío. He was level headed amongst all the crazy suitors. It would have been surprising and out of character if he left.

He loves her and would have proposed if she stayed, but he couldn’t leave. He would have been miserable if he left just as she was miserable in that world. She couldn’t stay and he couldn’t leave.

We’re starting to see why his kink came to be. He likes seeing his partner be with other people because he likes the validation of his partner always choosing him. There also seems to be trauma, I’m suspecting his parents showcasing a toxic relationship with cheating and separating. One of the images they showed when they talked about how the relationship always ends the same, he looked like he was in high school, so I don’t think he was cheated on.

If they erase the kink by clearing his trauma in the future I’ll be disappointed.

This last few chapters feel like they were flying through, going through the motions of events. It feels rushed but I’m assuming it was done to cause confusion. If they flesh out season 2 and explain the gaps, it will improve the story. If they don’t, this story will be mid.

My assumption: detective is faking his death. He mentioned how mc jumped off the platform in previous chapter when he was younger. Anyway, detective’s death will scare the mc, and I’m assuming mc will be kidnapped on his birthday after an altercation with ML. ML will rescue mc in monster form and mc will have confirmation.

Complete speculation, but the foreshadowing is leading in this direction:

I’m wondering if those kids “sold” all the leftover drugs to Jaewyoong on a “loan” or they may already have a history of selling to him on a loan. Remember they get a bonus if they sold it all by tomorrow. They knew Jaekyung’s dad would O.D (or would eventually) because it’s a whooooole lot of drugs.

Then his ex-teammates are gonna go to Jaekyung because he’s honest and say “hey, 1st place…. You owe us some money, pay up or work for us to pay it off….” Jaekyung will then be forced to make a choice in his grief…

They knew we were wanting this so bad, now this is how you give the readers what they want without adding in scenes to stories that don’t have it yet! Massive respect! Now back to the massive tension this story has been giving.

Samsamson created a topic of Amber Alert

I know everyone is like the angst and grooming…. But what Tennessee pulled on Riker/Amber wasn’t to lead him on. It was manipulation. He wanted Riker/Amber to leave and not come back. A way for T to draw a line and make R reflect and feel accountable.

He gave him an “option” to get over his feelings or leave. In reality, he wanted R to not come by after the confession. No one would have been able to push away their crush even if they said they were going to get over their feelings. It’s too quick. It’s also very difficult/impossible for R to get over his feelings if he’s around his crush. I think T knows this.

Their precarious situation only worked because the R never confessed. I’m betting Tennessee is going to move without telling him and we’ll have a time skip.

Riker/Amber is a symbol to T of the good he has done. Which is why he sleeps better when he’s around. It’s not love, he doesn’t love the kid. But I bet he knew R harbored feelings.

(This is all my speculation…..)

Mokyeon is super relatable in this chapter. Some of you are thinking only about the action, but what Mokyeon was doing is the classic “I want you to hurt as badly as I am hurting.” It took the shape of brutal schmeck in his imagination, BECAUSE Mokyeon would cope with his hurt feelings with brutal schmeck. (Remember how he was the sadist in all his interactions before Nanjo…)

Mokie didn’t want to hurt Nanjo so he let him go. Since he didn’t have an outlet to hurt someone else, he decides to hurt himself. He is self destructing rn. He goes to his fwb’s birthday party (a source of his pain): sits next to fwb, chugs straight alcohol, tears the earring out and gives it to fwb all without flinching.

As someone else said, Mokie is just a super sensitive soft boy despite his appearance. The complete opposite of the twink.

You all knew what kind of comic this was going to be in the first chapter. Please…. If it’s not for you then don’t read past the first chapter and make a comment about how you don’t like NTR. It’s a kink. And if we’re lucky it’s going to be written well and not just as P.

Samsamson created a topic of Backlight

I just re-read the end of season 1 after the recent chapter… and knowing that Seo-In’s mom knew mc in high school and would make food for the next time he came over….. it honestly hurts seeing that she paid off Yeongwoon’s dad after his beating. (That was because of Seo-In’s bro, right?) add to that, she has regret of it! Just the sight of him pushed her over the edge.

These flash back chapters really explains their current relationship and how they’re falling into old habits.

Before people defend Yoonkang, the panel after she introduces Yoonkang as her boyfriend, we see a listless So-Eun. Her eyes are listless and red rimmed, dark clothes, hair is flat, background muted. She says “ I’m going to marry Yoonkang. I’m going to live a happy life with him.”

That’s not the face of a happy bride/fiance. That is the face of a sad, resigned soul going to the gallows. And THEN we see the panel with Soyeon appearing with Jian and a welcoming EXPECTANT Yoonkang with a pregnant So-Eun watching.

So-Eun and Yoonkang were not a shy happy couple. So-Eun did not want Yoonkang as a husband. She was resigned to it. He did something, he trapped her. And it obviously had to do with money. She had a bodyguard as a child. She was happy and loved and treasured.

I’m assuming the hand at the end is Hajoon’s.

In the panel where Hajoon receives the address from Jitae, we see a glimpse of a blue long sleeve peek out from under his jacket’s sleeve just like that bloody hand.

It’s such a small detail and it’s only shown in one panel….

Everything we had a problem with, as readers, wasn’t a problem to the bottom….? (That’s what I’m taking from this convo?)

I can see why it was the bottom who caused their strife: bottom pulled away from their relationship during the top’s time of need. Bottom is embarrassed he is now having mixed feelings about his VERY stable relationship. Bottom lost his couple ring and feels even more embarrassed and less inclined to communicate with his lover. All these negative feelings are aggravated by the top ditching the funeral early to check in on him and by the top forgiving him for his actions/losing the ring. Add on to this, bottom is later hurt by realizing the top had experience when he actually had none. I can see where bottom’s pride/embarrassment got in the way of their relationship. It was bottom who originally pulled away and everything snowballed from there.

But, the readers and myself included, were displeased with the top’s response to this strife. I guess the bottom was okay with how his lover responded?

I do think the top forgave the bottom a lot. He forgave him from pulling away when he was hurting. The bottom wasn’t there for him when he lost an important family member which was really left field of the bottom to do. I think it’s important to note the bottom really messed with the top’s psychology when he did this. This is shown by the top making an awful decision to LITERALLY LEAVE the funeral early to check in on the bottom. Their relationship was so HEALTHY before he left, it became toxic in that one moment. Top also forgave him for losing his ring during this time. I would be heartbroken and sulky for awhile about it but he literally doesn’t act that way. He also continues to wear the ring.

This strife should have been shown from both sides. I think as readers we would have been a bit more forgiving to the top if we say his internal turmoil during this time. Unfortunately, we’re really displeased with the top after the park incident. This scene was really the pint of no return for us readers. He was really green flag coded at some point. The park scene should have been angry schmex between two equals/a couple, not one sided. If this scene was revised as such, I think we could have followed with the whole “let’s talk this out in the same place where we were both pissed off with each other.”

Jung woo is a bully. J is bullying/isolating Taesan because he likes him and doesn’t know how to deal with his own feelings. J is extremely violent against T, he’s hot and cold. (J hates T because he likes him but also J wants T all to himself). J is very delulu, obsessesive and possessive. What we are seeing/hearing of J and T is weird and is all based on the whims of J. Any “promises” T made to J were 100% coerced thru violence. Most of their interactions will continue to happen off screen.

Enjoying the MC being twisted…. Not everyone is inherently kind, but some of us learned to be kind instead.

Low key tired of altruistic mc’s being matched with twisted effers. Red flags shouldn’t get saints all the time, it’s over done.

We all saw J in chapter 1 with a different hair color: light ashy brown. I’m disappointed the artist didn’t switch his hair color back to the light brown when they did the fragment images, because that’s supposed to be J’s original hair color. Light ashy brown hair, a plain mask and blue eyes (because of a skill activation) are J’s signature look!

Also, SaYoung, iirc, is supposed to be in a house in the fragment where he’s calling out for J/hyung. He looks like he’s surrounded by destruction. The house setting is important because it plays a role in future chapters, but I digress.

This story has so many nuances that I understand the artist can’t do everything. But I’m disappointed by the hair color not switching. Hopefully the readers over there say something about it.

Samsamson created a topic of Crucial Point

No idea where his insane maso tendencies came from. I’m assuming he’s always had these tendencies but realized it wasn’t normal. So now that he’s in university living far away from his parents, he’s exploring with a fever. It would explain why he has absolutely NO BOUNDARIES. But he’s also really proud and refuses to go about it in a cautious, “I’m a noob” way.

Obviously he’s flying too close to the sun and something has to happen. He’s gonna get burned so bad and I’m anxiously waiting to see how it happens. I’m suspecting he’s gonna get caught in some way, it’s the only thing we’ve seen him go bananas about. Hopefully the incident will make him more cautious about his endeavors, carelessness and/or lack of boundaries.
