i initially came for the smut but it just pains me so much when i see two sisters drifting apart from each other. although adela is most likely dead already, i wanna know her story and what brought her letters to remain unsent. im certain that she mustve went through a lot given that she's terminally ill while being confined in a room without the ability to speak freely to ella, even with letters.
