our fl, ninako legit broke the hearts of both the korenaga siblings (daiki and mayuka) haha. ironic.
and the fact that ren hugged ninako more than he hugged mayuka when they were dating said a lot. he didnt even hug her back when she was crying about her parents' divorce. he and mayuka werent meant to be. although i feel so bad for mayuka, she deserved better.. also, as much as i feel bad for andou, he wasnt the right guy for ninako at all.and going out with him just because he loves her? out of pity? that would be so bad.
plus no matter how annoying, ninako's open and passionate love for ren was so refreshing in the classic shoujo tsundere FL era. her chemistry with ren was so strong and undeniable that even mayuka felt it instantly. this manga starts off very plain and cliche, but the web of emotions and the character dynamics that unravel gradually makes this one of the most complex classic shoujos. honestly one of my favorites.
