I feel like mc was put into a similar position to the original story. He's so focused on his favorite character that there's now a side character who currently isn't getting anything, just like the original story- and like his favorite character (originally). Just a little different. If that makes sense. But maybe he'll get a happier ending at some point. Idk I'm not necessarily getting bad vibes so far. Unless it somehow turns to obsession. Which is kid a spooky. ( ´◡‿ゝ◡`)
