my favorite parts of a song are in the bg you can just hear another instrument absolutely killing it (especially a bass, i feel like they don’t get enough credit ) like lyrics are fine, and definitely a crucial part of enjoyment, but if the whole song doesn’t come together as a whole it just feels like something is missing.
but then again mitsuki is dealing with a “newer crowd” let’s call them. a crowd that has the attention span of the average tiktok and couldn’t possibly see the beauty of those 7+min instrumental intros of oldie rock music
