a knight comes across a dragon, an emperor distrusts all dragons, they have a slow-burn with lots of pining from the emperor's side. you know how these fantasy stories go. i put this off for a while bc of the art but goddamn the worldbuilding in this is so interesting. the characters are a lot of fun and the plot flows smoothly with hints of humor, tragedy, and ofc romance! overall, a v nice read.
