I understand world building but like, transitioning back into the main story after this and NOT seeing Ian as Brian, which is the main conflict going on rn, js going to be damn near impossible lol. I feel like this is taking away from the main story instead of adding to it. It seems like the author is setting it up so Ian is not the same person as Brian, which I agree with, but after getting so many sol x brian scenes, the main couple almost feel like an afterthought…
Or just a failed hope twist. I was reading comments kinda makes me sad. The flashbacks is too long thaf I skip the chapters more.
