There are many characters in Maoujou and some of them only appeared in a few chapters. I don't think the author has completely abandoned him, he'll probably show up again when he's needed.
So on the official website Manta’s you can get a free chapter every 24 hours but that only applies to some of the chapters. But I was able to read 52-55 because of it.
