Ok so the selfish romance wasn't about yoomin and Hyundo but about theirs ex T_T, one wants someone who can be at their disposal anytime she wants to, and the other even though he knew he could never reciprocate her feelings, still wanted her to stay with him because it feels at peace and conformable with her, even if it means leading her all her life. But both ex thought it was ok because it's their way to love, both of them are selfish as f*ck and what a twist of events T_T

Spoiler
People keep saying that there was a misunderstanding about the older brother, that ml didn't know his brother r*ped mc, but rather thought mc seduced him and that it's only when they bounded that he learned the truth...
Well, ml KNEW before the bounding it was r*pe, as soon as he saw mc he understood everything, and when he smelled his brother's pheromone on mc it's was even more clear, he already knew about his brother (mc wasn't his 1srt victim), ml was actually preparing everything to send him to prison with the help of his sister.
It's true that when he saw mc in this state they had an argument, and mc made it sounded it was consensual, but from the beginning both of them knew the truth and mc knew that ml wasn't buying it ... so the fact that even when he understood what happened he still decided to r*pe mc (who was in such a sorry state) makes it so much worse...
Honestly we can argue about the fact that ml was in rut when this happened and so his emotions were on edge, plus mc wanted to divorce him and just moved out from the house without telling him so his rationality wasn't there (actually what triggered everything was mc saying he wanted to divorce, but ml ego used his brother as an excuse), but too be honest... it's all just an excuse lol.
Anyway it's just a story and ml a fictional character , plus most of us already knew about the r*pe and still decided to read it, so I'm not here to play the weewee police with high morality (I'll leave that for the people who love to play this role while continuing to read these kinds of stories lol), I just wanted to make this point of the story clear.

I love your comment!! Trying to start discourse and dissect the characters as they are - things that are part of a fictional story. It kinda irks me when so many people keep on taking the moral high ground in other manhwas and attacking other readers or the author when they could really have dropped it as these problematic themes and characters have been clear from the get go.

Lol serve him right, ML never told his thoughts or sentiments, plus he forced mc into this marriage without giving a damn about mc opinion. Did he actually think everything will be ok with this toxic relationship?
Plus starting all of this by blackmailing the kid lol...
But I'm also curious for mc, what's about the kid's treatment? Did he make a deal with the horrible grandfather? Because to be honest, ML has his flaws, but his father is the biggest red flag ever, after everything we heard about him, I will personally never entrust by child safety and health to him, especially when he himself said that he didn't care using his own blood for the entreprise, if he can use his child what makes mc think that he will not use his grandchildren?? (even more when he thinks the omega father is worthless lol).
Anyway, this is the end of season 2 and we're just back to square one, with the same things happening again and again, I think that if we erase all the repeat scenes and dialogues this could just be enough materials for 1 season not for two... there was no concrete evolution in this story since the beginning....

I think that we shouldn't concentrate that much on the ring. Of course, it's important in the story, but it's more like a catalyst than the cause.
At the very beginning, seme didn't approach uke with pure intentions, he played with me, lied to him and let's be honest saw him like an idiot lol. But he came to really like him, he's even totally obsessed with him that he can't extract himself from this relationship. The transition was so smooth that even we ourselves didn't know if he was a red/green flag or if he was playing/serious with uke before his POV. But thanks to that, he is freaking out because he's afraid of uke learning the truth and wanting to break up with him (well, when you do bad things, you can never be at peace). So, when you combine the fact that he can't stay away from uke for too long + he now noticed that something is off with uke and was afraid that uke might have learned the truth.
For uke, the situation is even more delicate. Of course, he's guilty about the ring, but he still doesn't know how to face seme with what he learned. Because realistically, seme never did anything wrong to him. He was always caring, and uke can tell that seme is totally in love with him. So, did seme do something wrong? Not really, if we're honest (at least for now). But still, uke can't shake off the feeling that seme knew everything from the beginning, that he played with him, lied to him (uke also lied, but you know it's not the same), and saw through him. Uke must have appeared very dumb in front of him. Uke must be feeling ashamed and embarrassed that his "ugly side" was seen by everyone and that he was the only one in the play. Plus, it was painful to imagine seme with that sunbae, but it seems like they DID have something between them. But can he be mad when that was before they were together and seme never cheated or seemed like he could when they were together? It's really the "can I have the right to be mad when he never hurt me and is sincere with me?" question. He doesn't know how to face him, and I think it's more about that than about the ring.
I think lying is a pretty good reason to be mad, but since they were both liars at the beginning

I really don't understand the comments, they started dating not too long ago and have never had any arguments and for both of them this is their very first dating experience. They need time to adapt, to understand each other and to learn to express themselves (+ they were both pathetical liars at the beginning). It may take time and that's okay, that's how human relationships work in general.
Do they need to break up at the very first argument because they still don't know how to communicate? Because that's how you'all sound.
Ml was accused of not being serious about the MC at first, and now that it's clear he's the one way more into the relationship, people are still criticizing him, man can't catch a break lmao. I guess it's because people have decided it's a bad/red flag seme when he's not.
They are both immature and far from perfect, but again that's normal, when they are 95% honest with each other there will be no more walls between them (well just the ml is the obsessive and anxious type, so it's going to be hard for him to always be at peace of mind, mc will have to accommodate with it lol).

I completely agree! Iām so glad someone said this. I wudnt even say that their communications isnt as much the problem as I would say their lacking in understanding.
MC gets overwhelmed by MLs need for physical touch. Now after this most recent episode, I would say that the ML sees that but doesnāt understand why and how to go about it. The ML just doesnāt understand why these physicalities make him so uncomfortable.
PLUS+! It is not unusual in a relationship to not like PDA. AND! Itās not uncommon for people to need physical touch and not be bothered by PDA.
For those who are gay and/or in the closet itās not crazy to see that. Personally, I am someone that canāt do PDA at all.
I donāt think that they should break up either. At least not yet, not with what weāve read so far! Like you said this is their first relationship! Itās going to be awkward and messy.
They are both trying to compromise and be understanding. They just donāt realize how what theyāre doing makes the other feel and why.
While I say all this, I donāt like the ML almost at all. But I canāt put my finger on y? But I still can see this.

So the webtoon is complete (at chapter 55), and one thing I can see is that don't waste your time on this lmao.
SPOILER
The story is about misunderstanding and nothing about romance.
Literally it's all about misunderstanding until the 3 very last panels : ML finds MC, he then confess, they kiss under the rain, and that's all. Nothing more, nothing less...
Not a tiny bit about their romance is developed. After Mc confessed, they slept together, and the very next morning ml leaved for days somewhere else (for business I think), then mc wasn't sure about their romance (because ml never confessed and people around him told him to not deluded himself with ml), he decided to leave the mansion while ml is still on his business trip... and then is the confession scene and end lol.
Mc is frustrating and unlikable (I don't like him), ml is frustrating and even more stupid (he get on my nerves), the story is all about ml's fantasm.
The novel has some side story, but I don't think it will be adapted on webtoon.
I'M SPEECHLESS
