Ok so for me I liked how Hestia got mad at Kael in previous chapter more than that lukewarm reaction in novel. So last chapter was good.
Howeeeeever, this chapter ruined it for me. Kael reaction to her suicide was much more dramatic in the novel, here it became a bit too cringe at some point.
Well it took away the raw emotion I read in the novel, it made me cry even. Its hard to explain, but I get lost in a good story and pulled into it. These last panels in here took me “out of it”, cause of the exaggerated romance scene. That is why I cringed with it. Glad that was not the case to you though!
Could you copy paste that part? If you still remember the chapter, and yeah to me all I saw is a caring man, since I haven't read the novel I don't have a way of comparison, so for those of us who only read the manwha it was pretty dp and heavy too, you can see everything in their eyes and the way they're drawn, a picture is worth a thousand words, so to me histears and the way he clung onto her, his obvious desperation in the voice, as it was portrayed by the sfx, it all seemed real and raw, since usually when you're in the moment you don't really think about what to say or how to say it, so it might seem unpolished, so yeah I like it.
Also, I didn't know what you meant, I was even wondering "who says cringe about an attempted su*c***?" So yeah that's why I said it doesn't make sense to call it cringe, but now I see what you mean, thanks for explaining it.
Honest question? Why do people keep hating on love triangles lately? I think 99% of these genres have a love triangle. Maybe switch to Josei, some of those are more rich in character dev. This was clearly going in that direction guys. And that is also ok :)
It's annoying that one guy always has to get his heart broken I wish they would just keep it platonic and nobody gets hurt
