As much as I love this story and have reread this a billion times, I don’t like the direction the author took with karlyle’s personality towards the end of the story
He’s just a big ol baby to the point where’s he’s Too soft
Like he’s still an alpha but he acts like a gush of wind could push him over
I wish he still acted cold and reserved all the time but only lets his guard down A LITTLE around Ash
All the good goo ga ga, lovey-dovey stuff is getting a little old to me
It worked really well in the beginning cuz that was such a breath of fresh air for me compared to all of ANSTY bl out there
But now after everything they’ve been through, they just coddle each other too much:(
I just wish that karlyle still had some dominance in him and maybe we could have seen a chapter where Karlyle wants to try topping since he also has alpha instincts
